InCommand Fire Ltd was established in Sept 2021 with the aim of improving the quality and delivery of FRS Incident Command training and assessing, based on National Operational Guidance, by utilising a plethora of training methodology approaches to suit all learners.

All UK FRS are currently under more and more pressure to hit targets with ever decreasing budgets and less and less personnel to achieve it.

InCommand Fire is the perfect solution to relieve some of these pressures in a timely and cost effective way.

Welcome to InCommand Fire Ltd.


Following a career spanning over 33 years, Paul retired from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service in September 2021, with an incredible amount of experience, knowledge and qualifications in the operations, training and assessing of both Fire and Rescue Service and multi-agency partners alike.

Paul has now set up a private company ‘InCommand Fire’ to help public sector emergency services to find real time and cost effective solutions to training and assessing of their staff, with particular skills in Fire and Rescue Service ICL1 & ICL2 development and assessment in Incident Command based on National Operational Guidance.

Paul also has experience in the developing and training of MTFA operatives, CBRNe Tac Ads, NILOs and senior principle officers, and has successfully written policy and procedures utilised by GMFRS.

Whilst on secondment to the National Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Centre in 2017, Paul was proudly awarded a commendation from Counter Terrorism Policing for work carried out with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
